World building sub-forum?

I was just pondering - what about a sub-forum, in the writing section, for world-building? Specifically, threads on Geography of Equestria (containing links to maps and descriptions), place-names, NPC characters with limited backgrounds that could be picked up by authors (creating a little commonality between fics, perhaps). In general, it could be a resource, added to by authors, for their own reference and the reference of newcomers.
