This is the story of Trixie Lulamoon - a talented blue pony who has been utterly broken by tragedy. She is doing her best to save the world from an invading army of darkness, but it's not going very well. Equestria has refused to forgive her for her role in the death of Twilight Sparkle, and wants her to die. The surviving members of the Mane 6 are cold and bitter, and healing their spirits is not going to be easy. In fact, it may take a great deal more than a wounded Trixie has to give.
But the fate of everypony really does depend on her. Like it or not, Trixie is the new Element of Magic, and she is the only one who can defeat the Necromancer and his army of undead spectrals. If she can't find a way to restore harmony to Equestria, the dead will rule the living - and the night will last forever.
It's been three months since the Noble Six rescued the Mane Six from Chaos Mountain and even though Flare knows a decent amount about friendship, his adventure is still far from over. Flare has yet to know who the mysterious doctor is because there is somepony out there that wants to ruin Flare's life for good. Who could it be? Meanwhile, Flare's sister Water Gun moves into town.
Crimson Flare Gun, a red unicorn pony with a bleak past. He moves out of his hometown of Mareami and moves into Ponyville for a fresh new start at life. Not only does he move into a new town filled with ponies that may accept him for who he is, he wants help for improving his comedic ways to help make new friends. On the way, Flare befriends some ponies that shares similar histories. Flare may not be the kindest or most serious pony in Equestria, but with the help of his new friends, he will succeed, or will he? Don't look at me, I'm just a label.
Fast forward two and a half years since the events of A Living Nightmare Of Chaos, Drake, the human, has moved into Canterlot Castle with his Fiance, Princess Celestia and her sister Princess Luna. Everything seems calm, but everypony has been living on borrowed time as the arrival of a time traveling human preaching words of war in Equestria sends ripples through the lands, death will be arriving and has followed Drake from the future.
Princess Luna must decide where her heart lies, the ember of love for her sisters fiance threatens to send her mad with sorrow and jelousy. And with her sisters wedding in just a month, can she contain her feelings or will the events that are unfolding reawaken the spirit of Nightmare Moon inside her?
Celestia knew something terrible was about to happen. Sure, everything seemed fine, but she knew better. Something was very, very wrong.
Her fears were confirmed when a magical being from the distant future told her that on that very night, Equestria would be destroyed and all would be lost. There was no way to stop it. The darkness was coming and would consume everypony. There would only be one survivor – and it was not Celestia.
The world’s last night had come.
It's been over a decade since Luna's return, and much has changed.
Some of the changes, you may not know yet.
Of those wonders known to the public the Lord of Chaos rose, and fell, then rose again, an ancient queen attempted to take the land of ponies for herself and an empire lost to time was reborn. An apprentice became a successor, and then her own mare as a new Equestria was born under the watchful eye of a princess imbibing the point between the Light and the Dark.
And then what?
Until the unfolding of a fifth set of stories, if one emerges, one can only hope to view the evolving world of Equestria through the eyes of a young gray colt becoming a stallion, hardly aware of the changes he might witness, but keenly able to influence them. The powers of love and magic move without rest in a conquest that shakes the known world to its very roots.
What precisely happens in the lull between the seasons?
Are you ready to find out?
